La Villaya 14 bedroom villa complex offers fun and relaxation for everyone

If you stay in our Mediterranean style villa complex of 4 villas, you’ll have the whole complex to yourself – ideal for a relaxing holiday. The most social of animals should pick the 5 bedroom villa: this is the biggest, and accommodates 11 people. Those who want some quiet time should pick the 1 bedroom villa, an intimate space to retreat from the hubbub and get some privacy. All the villas have their own private pool – even the 1 bedroom villa.

Spend your days hanging out around one of the pools – they are all of a generous size (12m*6m pool in the 5 bedroom villa, 8m*5m pools in each 4 bedroom villa and 6.5m*4m pool in the 1 bedroom villa) and have plenty of social spots to sit, chat and sunbathe. The 5bed villa also has a full upstairs terrace running along the whole building that looks out over the pool, with more places to sit, plus some massage beds – perfect for some pampering. The living spaces are generous, especially in the 5 bedroom and 4 bedroom villas.

All have comfortable sofas, large TVs, dining tables and a fully equipped kitchen, plus a lot of floor space, if you want to get the whole group together at home. If you want to go out, your local neighborhood Umalas is up and coming with a growing number of restaurants – we love Monsieur Spoon. Or you can take a short ride in Seminyak or Canggu, where you can take your pick of hundreds of great options.

All bedrooms in all villas have AC, king-sized beds and a private bathroom, so you can’t go wrong. Your best pick is one of the master bedrooms in the 4 bedroom villas – these have a comfortable seating area too, and adjoin terrace space which also has seating and a coffee table.

Nestled between chic Seminyak and hipster Canggu, Umalas has become one of the most exclusive locations in Bali with a number of gourmet restaurants, trendy cafés and luxury spas. And this villa is located near to Warung Dua and Bucu.

Warung Dua: favourite among expats and with a relaxed vibe, Warung Dua offers coffee, fresh juices and yummy Indonesian food. It is a great pit stop in Umalas if you are looking for quick, tasty and cheap food and would be a great introduction to the famous ‘Indonesian Warungs’.
Habitual: A small exclusive café with some one-of-a-kind burgers that is only open for breakfast and lunch. With a world class American chef and a contemporary chic décor, this place is dressed in dark colours to create an ambiance! The café also offers pasta, soups and salads and some yummy desserts.
Bucu: must-go for a family as it has an interesting playground downstairs (including an inflatable water castle when the sun is out). The playground is half inside and half outside so it is also convenient during the rainy season. As well as that, the food, coffee and atmosphere are great!
Nook: With its unbeatable rice field views, this open spaced place serves Balinese specialties in addition to Western favourites at very reasonable prices. The heavenly juices, huge smoothies and seafood kebab or fresh oysters on a Sunday are real crowd pleasers.
Monsieur Spoon: An oh-la-la French bakery perfect for a ‘petit dejeuner’. Definitely the best croissants on the island but not only limited to that. Do also try the breakfast, lunch and dinner options and you will not be disappointed!
La Casetta: For pizza lovers, this is your place. Pizzas don’t come better than this, the pasta is to die for and don’t even get me started with the pannacotta or ‘Sorbetto al Limone’ for dessert. It is one of our favourite Italian restaurants for a very good reason!

Getting around:

The staff can arrange car with driver for day trips as well as motorbike rentals. Price for motorbike rentals ranges from 80.000 IDR for a standard Vario to 250.000 IDR for the more premium Nmax.
